Description
The SolTech System is an efficient, sustainable, flexible and elegant solar
energy system that is integrated into any building.
The SolTech System is the modern solar energy solution with a shorter payback
period than competing systems.
The SolTech System can also be integrated with your existing heating system and
even improve it.
SolTech System is the solar energy solution that makes your house look better,
with glass roof tiles or glass wall panels.
House Owners it doesn’t matter whether you are planning to build a new one, or
if your house is 100 years old. It doesn’t matter if your house is heated
solely by electricity or with a heat pump. The SolTech Energy's solar energy
system, the SolTech System, is the flexible solar energy system that works for
all types of houses and makes your existing system better.
The SolTech System is an effective, sustainable, flexible and elegant solar
heating solution that integrates into your building. This unique system
consists of roof tiles or wall panels of glass, special heat absorption felt
and beams under the felt. The felt and beams enclose a circulating layer of
air, warmed by solar energy.
The unique design of the SolTech System uses all or parts of the roof and/or
walls and is constructed so it can be connected to other heating systems. As
the solar energy system forms an integrated part of the building, it makes up
part of its protective shell, that is to say surfaces that keep rain and nasty
weather out.
The unique solar energy system SolTech System can be mounted on existing
buildings or form part of a new building. Furthermore, the solar heated layer
of air under the roof, or behind an outer wall, means the system acts as extra
insulation, something competing solutions do not offer.
The system’s components, like the glass roof tiles, have a longer lifetime
than ceramic or cement tiles. The absorber felt, which acts as the
waterproofing layer, has a lifetime comparable to normal roofing felt.
The SolTech System generates between 300 and 500 kWh per square meter per
year. The angle of the roof should be over 20 degrees and we recommend you use
at least 20 square meters. You will get best results if you roof is un-shaded
and faces south. However, south-west and south- east facing roofs give good
results too.
You may have to apply for planning permission. Check with the local building
authorities if permission is required in your area. Applying for planning
permission for an SolTech System installation is relatively easy. SolTech
Energy is able to help you with writing the application.
Company Profile
SolTech Energy AB
Clean solar energy as a business idea!
The foundation of SolTech Energy is Swedish Solar Thermal Light Absorption
Technology, the patented invention of Peter Kjaerboe from the Swedish Royal
Institute of Technology and biologist Arne Moberg. By combining scientific
calculations and data with the basic principles of all life, gleaned from
biology, they succeeded in developing a unique solar energy system.
After several years’ development the company, SolTech Energy Sweden AB, was
