Viconics Electronics Inc. was founded in 1981 in Montreal, Canada as Quantum Electronics to respond to the increasing demand for accurate, versatile, cost-effective and reliable industrial process and temperature instruments and controls.
The company’s early success was due to its combined experience in electronics, control technology, microcomputers and industrial packaging and the ability to generate a complete set of specifications, based on customer and market needs, and within a short time transform this into a product that was designed, manufactured and tested in-house.
