Description
Established in 1923 as family business known as THE WORKMAN BAG COMPANY, MULTISAC® has become a leader in field of industrial flexible packaging products. The company focuses on industrial and institutional markets requiring strong, durable and cost effective bags, covers, tubing and fabric sheeting. Most products are custom-designed and printed to the customer’s specific performance and esthetic requirements.
Company Profile
Originally, MULTISAC®’s produced most products by hand. In the 1940’s, we were the first Canadian bag manufacturer to introduce automation to textile bag making, with the purchase of one of the first Schmutz presses made. This enabled rolled fabric to be printed, cut and folded, in one operation.
Over the years, the company updated its equipment and product line, taking advantage of developments in the textile, plastic and converting industries. Jute tubing, woven polyethylene and polypropylene bags were added.
