Description
The Norwegian government has the great pleasure, in conjunction with the Luxembourg Presidency of the European Union and the European Commission, to host the third, high-level, Ministerial eHealth 2005 Conference. The Conference will also be organised in close collaboration with the Norwegian Directorate of Health and Social Affairs and the Norwegian Centre for Telemedicine.

The conference will take place at the Performing Arts Centre in Tromsø, Norway, on the 23 and 24 May in Tromsø. The conference will focus on the role of eHealth in relation to three themes:
Facilitating mobility within and between countries - meeting the challenges of increased mobility
Supporting more responsive health services and creating greater public awareness through better health information
Improving access to and quality of care, patient safety, and productivity
The conference builds on two highly successful eHealth Conferences that took place in Brussels in 2003 and in Cork in 2004. It will provide an opportunity to...
