By using modules, all components that generate heat losses are integrated in a single module. Only the logic components, which induce low power dissipation, remain to be integrated on the printed circuit board facilitating the control of the entire system. It is extremely important that all heat emitting components are coupled directly to the system heat sink, in particular for applications without fan or applications with completely encapsulated housing. The temperature sensor, integrated in all modules, measures the current temperature of the module allowing to pinpoint a possible temperature rise, thus preventing sudden system breakdowns.
