Product Description
YLA offers a full line of towpreg and slit tape material options for filament winding, braiding and fiber placement fabrication techniques. The company provides cyanate ester, epoxy and bismaleimide products impregnated on individual fiber tows and yarns using a hot melt impregnation process. This process allows efficient through-put, control of resin content, low to zero volatile content and excellent product handling characteristics. Towpreg and slit tape product forms are available on most continuous fiber reinforcements including carbon, aramid, quartz and glass.
