Product Description

This new crane was developed in response to industry demands for a replacement for the ‘tractor’ crane, while also giving the operator increased comfort. The UC 15 is a new design, which was developed primarily for site work, such as, mine sites, big fabrication yards and building and construction sites. Improvements in the UC-15 include the two-man cabin and a 2-speed winch with extra lifting capacity. The newly designed cabin features a centre console that includes A/C controls and vents, crane controls and the Load Moment Indicator. The cabin also boasts an ergonomic tilt steering wheel. The additional cabin space with allowance for a second person is very handy for transporting personnel, where two people are required to handle specific tasks around larger sites. The load moment indicator is a very user-friendly system, which has an excellent user interface, and some clever options to make it an exceptional "must have" tool for the operator. The UC-15 has a 15 metric tonne capacity, 17 metre hook height and a road speed of 45 km/h. It also features a new boom with an increased capacity winch - 3.5 tonne line pull for maximum capacity of 10.5 tonne with 3 falls of rope. This is a dual speed winch that allows for faster rope winching up and down when reeved for 3 falls. This new Franna crane is set to become the industry standard in ‘on-site’ pick and carry cranes, especially within the mining sector.
