Single-Stage Blowers 3600 and 1800 RPM

Outstanding features

· Heavy steel plate construction throughout
· Taper-lock hub construction for all 3600-rpm blowers.
· All blowers statically and dynamically balanced.
· Impellers – mild steel, radial bladed for reliable mechanical performance. Custom design and construction readily available for temperatures over 180° F. Special alloy construction for temperatures exceeding 650° F and for corrosive applications.
· Fixed housing furnished with all 3600-rpm blowers as standard feature. Universal housing blowers available upon request.
· Dampers – multiple-leaf rectangular outlet dampers or multiple-leaf radial inlet dampers are available for both 1800-rpm and 3600-rpm blowers. Blast gate-type isolation dampers also available.
· Bearings – Link Belt P-300, 6800; SKF1600, 22500 series.

Drive Arrangements
Made for a complete range of applications

Robinson high-pressure blowers are engineered for a range of volumes from 275 to 23,680 cfm at pressures from 4 to 32 ounces per square inch. All-welded steel construction. Wheel and housing reversible for 3600-rpm blowers. Furnished with a fixed housing (standard). Universal housing available as an option.

For applications at temperatures, pressures or volume requirements not shown here, call or write your Robinson representative or the Robinson plant.

Arrangement No. 4
A compact, economical assembly for direct drive. Wheel overhung on prime mover shaft. No bearings on fan. Base mounted to allow for integrally direct connected prime mover. Needs no auxiliary transmission equipment. Wheel and housing reversible.

This arrangement is recommended for 3600-rpm blowers, and for a few 1800-rpm blowers. Where operating temperatures exceed 180° F, please write for further information. Robinson recommends that all motors for arrangement 4 blowers be furnished with cast frames.

Arrangement No. 8
A heavy-duty assembly complete with anti-friction bearings. Designed for direct drive by a prime mover through a coupling device.

This arrangement is recommended for 3600-rpm and 1800-rpm blowers. In applications where operating temperatures exceed 180° F, please consult factory. Discharge positions available shown on pages 6 and 7.

In addition to the standard line of RL pressure blowers featured in this bulletin, Robinson also engineers and builds “custom” pressure blowers up to approximately 120 inches water pressure and over 1 million cfm. Call or write for more information on these blowers for special combustion air applications.

Robinson Optional Accessories

In addition to special alloy constructions, Robinson supplies its RL high-pressure blowers with optional accessories and features to fit your specific needs.

Power supply, drives, bearings, dampers and blast gates, discharge positions and fittings, and other accessories are available in a variety of types to keep your Robinson blowers operating efficiently at the lowest possible noise level and with the least possible maintenance. Universal housing available as an option.
