The range of worm screw jacks available from Kelston Transmissions Limited is made up of 12 models with nominal capacities frm 5KN to 1500KN. There are two types of jacks which are translating and rotating. Translating jacks can be keyed and fitted with backlash elimination. Both types can be fitted with backlash limiting devices. The units can be supplied with bell housings and electric motors, limit switches and rotary encoders.
As standard the units are offered with a choice of two gear reductions - high ratio and low ratio. Where necessary, alternative gear reduction ratios can be supplied. Hardened and ground worms to give extended life are all offered as an option. All the above mentioned jacks are available in upright or inverted orientation.
