A Component Package is a self-contained, electric power generation system used in either simple-cycle or heat recovery applications. The development of this package systems from the requirements of the utility industry for a low first cost, rapid on-line generation system, to be used in intermittent-peaking operation or continuous service, as desired.
The design of a Component Package has evolved from over fifty years of experience in combustion turbine engine technology, combined with hundreds of packaged power plant applications for both peaking and base load service.
