Product Name: Low leakage power supplies target commercial, medical apps

Product Description

SL Power Electronics Corporation, the company established following the merger of Condor DC Power and Ault, announces a new range of mid power commercial and medically approved power supplies. The GNT400 power supplies are capable of producing 400W of power with the optional fan cover fitted and will give up to 425W at 230VAC input or 440W for up to one minute. Customers have the option of fitting the fan at one end of the unit or horizontally on the top. If convection cooled the unit is capable of 300W, a feature that is becoming increasingly popular particularly with medical manufacturers looking for ever increasing amounts of power without the use of fans. The GNT400 comes in the highly compact 4 x 7 x 1.5in (9.5W/cu inch) package which is 1U compatible. Four standard outputs from 12 to 48V are currently available although any voltage between 12 and 56V is available to order. Two additional auxiliary voltages with output currents up to 10A are also available as an option. The medical version, approved to UL/IEC/EN60601-1, features leakage current levels of less than 100mA and is ideally suited for medical applications such as battery charging, powering pumps, motors, single board computers and solenoids. Used as a front-end power supply, its use allows easy integration with commercial DC/DC converters to meet stringent medical system requirements.Commercial GNT400 power supplies are approved to EN60950 and all versions are fully RoHS-6 compliant and are fitted with power factor correction with compliance to EM55011/22 conducted noise level B. The GNT400 is available with a variety of connection options dependent on customer’s preference. Inputs can either be with screw or pin connector and outputs either by bussbars or screw connector. Highly reliable, the GNT400 has efficiencies in excess of 86% and mtbf of 300,000 hours (Telcordia SR-332), making it well suited for applications where system reliability is paramount
