Product Description
Munich, Germany—MGV's SPH613 and SPH1013 series, an extension to the company's Super Slim family, set claim to the slimmest 600- and 1,000-watt power supplies on the market. They require an installation width of just 56, and 66 mm, respectively.
These robust power supplies, suited for a full range of industrial applications, offer a flexible configuration (DIN-rail or wall mounting) and, thanks to the integral fan, operate in any position at temperatures up to +70°C. Working off a wide input (3 x 340-550 VAC), they are suitable for both IT and delta networks. The SPH613 provides a highly-stable 24 volts at 25 amps; the SPH1013 provides 24 volts at 40 amps. Output voltage can be adjusted between 23.5 and 28.5 volts.
The supplies' enhanced microcontrolled Advanced Power Boost circuitry allows high peak operation for short-term, peak-power requirements. They will provide up to 40 amps (SPH613) or 80 amps (SPH1013) for 2 seconds. Both the SPH613 and SPH1013 can be placed in parallel for higher-current applications.
The supplies include an internal mains fuse, over-voltage and overload protection, and over-temperature control with cutoff function. They meet EN60950 and UL60950 specs and are UL508 listed.
