Product Description
DIGIFORCE controls processes in which precisely defined functional
relationships between two measured variables must be demonstrated. For example
such relationships between force and displacement during a pressing operation,
and between torque and angle of a bolt during roataion. DIGIFORCE is widely used
in monitoring fastening, riveting, and caulking operations, as well as in torque
control, bearing pressing, production of switches etc.
A reference characteristic curve is acquired and
stored by DIGIFORCE then computes and compares it to a curve acquired during
production. DIGIFORCE can be integrated into the production environment and
fulfills its monitoring functions in sychronization with the production system.
In in addition to fully automated production lines DIGIFORCE can be utilised in
manual tasks such as acceptance sampling in shipping and receiving.
Quick workpiece changes are no problem for
DIGIFORCE as up to 32 workpiece reference curves can be stored and selected,
either by PLC interface or Menu selection. The hgighly comprehensive diagnostic
menus provide the user with constant data in the production process. Trend
curves allow the user to tell when and how production is running. Most standard
force, displacement and standard signal sensors (e.g. loadcells, linear pots,
shaft encoders, LVDT's, 0-10V, 4-20 mA) can be connected to the DIGIFORCE.
