DESCRIPTION The most significant feature of the Odyssey capacitance water level probe is that there is no shroud. The product design includes a brass counter weight (2 sizes available, refer below) at the bottom of the sensor element which is also an earthing contact with the water being measured. This eliminates the need for the external aluminium shroud (which is used to make electrical contact with the water). If for structural reasons customers require the shroudless probe to have an external casing to support it above ground, the Odyssey water level housing has a “step” in the diameter of the housing which allows the probe to sit into (and be supported by) 32mm (inner diameter) PVC pipe which can be purchased by the customer. The Odyssey probe is then lowered inside this PVC pipe. PRICE (All pricing in New Zealand dollars) Prices include the data recorder. Delivery charges are additional.
