While our glue unit system has been streamlined and manufactured to be more compact, the technical services division of Gartech have also been hard at work developing new features to further enhance our system. The biggest change? When you order a Gartech Glue Unit, the control panel will now feature industry-respected Allen Bradley components. This much improved control panel will not only minimize set-up time, it also is overwhelmingly more user-friendly. With Gartech’s enhanced wash-up cycle and patented glue-application system, set-up and proper maintenance will increase not only the life of the glue wheel and glue shoe, but optimize the pattern for consistently and accurately glued tabs every time. Another new feature is the load cell system, designed to monitor glue flow and minimize the chance of glue overflow at the machine site. Already in use on Gartech Glue Units overseas, we are pleased to offer it to all our customers as part of our upgrade package. With all the increased safety concerns throughout the industry, Gartech offers a lock-out, tag-out feature on its control panel. The complete system can be installed on a new unit or interchanged with a Gartech Glue Unit already in your facility.
