Pneumatic Valves Also known as Auto diaphragm valves - Pneumatically operated diaphragm actuators can be direct, reverse or double acting in operation with spring or can be springless. Springless actuator can be supplied with the air reservoir for fail safe position. Salient Features: - 1)Diaphragm Actuators Sizes: - Effective area 9 sq. in. to 300 sq. in. and in case of double diaphragm actuators. it can go up to 600 sq.in.to match any thrust requirements 2) Control Valve Closing time: - Approximately 8 seconds 3) Control Valve Opening time: - Approximately 20 seconds 4) Operating Air Pressure: - Upto 50 psig for diaphragm Upto 100 psig for Cyclinder Springless type actuator can be supplied with 3 psig constant loading 5) Operating Line pressure: - 150 psig for valve size up to 100mm 120 psig for valve size upto 150mm Above 150 mm size, line pressure will be lower. Direct acting actuated diaphragm valve (Air to close, spring to open, DOPC): - This actuator is designed to operate from a normally open position. Air pressure on the top side of the actuator diaphragm closes the valve, and the spring opens the valve, when the air is released from the actuator. (Air failure valve opens)
