BP "Clair" is one of the largest construction project the North Sea has seen for some years. Our experience through involvement on the front end of the project, plus our price competitiveness meant that we became an integral part of the valve supply chain for several subcontractors. Products supplied range from large, high pressure, actuated trunnion mounted ball valves in duplex, to hundreds of low cost carbon steel ball valves.We were able to support the subcontractors not only with their first take off needs but also additional unforeseen requirements. This meant dealing with several awkward, small orders that were critical to the construction schedule. Client feedback suggests that we have been successful to date.
