Product Description

In order to ensure consistent results and obtain maximum throughput from the solder leveling unit, a Pre and Post Treatment System is strongly recommended. Before panels can be reliably solder coated it is essential that exposed copper is thoroughly cleaned to provide an active surface and then immediately flux coated prior to immersion in the solder pot. Washing following Hot Air Solder leveling is required toremove the flux residues remaining on the panel. Drying and stacking completes the process. The Cemco-Fsl Pre and Post Treatment System has been developed to provide a quick economical solution. The system has an effective conveyor width of 635 mm (25”). Micro-Etch Process Designed to pre-clean panels prior to Flux Coating and HASL. The chamber has an effective length of 698 mm (27.5”) with drag out rollers either end. Fitted with an Immersion Heater and level switches. An optional cooling coil is available. Note: The system is only suitable for pre-cleaning chemistry compatible with stainless steel. If in doubt, please check with Cemco-Fsl. Alternative systems are available for use with other chemistries. Conveyor / Fluxer / Conveyor / Holding Station The unit incorporates 3 pairs of pressure adjustable squeegee rollers. The first set is used to remove the excess rinse water (where the optional dryer is not incorporated) but leaves the panel damp before entering the first set of flux rollers. Flux manifolds are mounted above the the second and third set of flux coating rollers, while the lower rollers are submerged in a tray of flux. A manual on / off valve is fitted in-line to the third \fluxing manifold. The valve is normally closed unless valve complexity, thickness, and hole sizes require a thicker flux coating. All rollers are easily dismantled for cleaning. The holding station module incorporates an 8 panel off-loading and holding mechanism, and a motor drive for the preceding two conveyors. Panels are driven into the slots of the pick-up wheels. When an incoming panel has been detected, a pre-set delay permits skewed panels to completely enter the pick-up slots before being lifted. An internal drive motor is then energised, rotating the pick up wheels, raising the panel above the conveyor and allowing the following panel to enter the next pick-up slot. Panels are held in a convenient position ready for manual loading into the Hot Air Leveler
