ISU offered a short, non technical course on communications satellites, launch vehicles and other space related business activities at the Isle of Man 's International Business School from 17-19 May 2004.
The course assisted government and business leaders to better understand this exciting sector and thus better able to discuss business and financing opportunities with space executives who are now interested in the services the Isle of Man has to offer.

"Space Project Management in Europe"

ISU with the support of the European Space Agency organized a three-week Professional Development Program (PDP) on various aspects of space project management in Europe for selected personnel of the Chinese National Space Administration (CNSA) and other space organizations from the People's Republic of China.
ISU hosted the first week of the program at its new facilities in Strasbourg, France, from Monday, 21 October to Friday, 25 October. There were 18 participants from five different organizations involved in space-related activities in China. The second week of the program took place at ESA's ESTEC facilities in Noordwijk (The Netherlands), and the third week took place at various industrial sites in the Toulouse and Paris area.

"Space Propulsion: from Fundamentals to Applications"

The participants gained a broad understanding of the challenges and opportunities of the fundamentals of space propulsion, with its applications and future perspectives.
