190 and 191 Splicers

Product Name: 190 and 191 Splicers

Product Description

W+D has developed a zero-speed paper splicer Series, the 191 for paper and light board reels. This important undertaking was essential to maintain the optimum performance of our new machines. The W+D splicer features a minimum 'tail' and a tight placement pattern for the splice. This is important to maintain constant machine production, minimize waste, and to avoid machine downtime. There are three variations of the 191 series, for narrow web widths (191N), wide web widths (191W) and for light board materials (191WK). The Model 190 is a window film splicer designed to accommodate the process requirements of our high-speed, tight register folding machines. Main Features Roll-beside-roll configuration, maximum 60" diameter on the 191 and 20” on the 190 Servo driven roll-unwind and festoon interfaced with the folding machine Simple, and safe, roll loading Minimal number of wear parts Paper roll is belt driven on the roll diameter for constant web tension Conveniently located web splice unit and operator controls Register splice, position splice and butt-splice capabilities are featured items. Max. output: zero-speed splice capability at machine speeds
