Product Name: Airgrit™ Model 7203 Etching System

Product Description

Designed for inspector’s marking where the maximum mark is approximately 1/2” diameter. (1.3 cm). Airgrit etching systems are used to permanently identify glass, metals, ceramics, plastics or other fragile materials with hard, anodized or highly polished surfaces. Airgrit etching is a stress-free, marking process that will not distort or fracture the shape of delicate or thin-walled parts. Operating on a forced-blast principle, the systems produce a frosted or etched impression on the surface of flat or round parts by blowing fine abrasive grit through the relieved portion of a rubber mask. The result is a high-quality frosted impression that contrasts with the product's surface.
