Designed for marking large or heavy objects which cannot be transported to a marking station. The unit is mounted on swivel casters for portability to any location where air and electricity are available.
Airgrit etching systems are used to permanently identify glass, metals, ceramics, plastics or other fragile materials with hard, anodized or highly polished surfaces. Airgrit etching is a stress-free, marking process that will not distort or fracture the shape of delicate or thin-walled parts. Operating on a forced-blast principle, the systems produce a frosted or etched impression on the surface of flat or round parts by blowing fine abrasive grit through the relieved portion of a rubber mask. The result is a high-quality frosted impression that contrasts with the product's surface.
