The S.C.I. F.I. 3400 is the first small character printer that uses valve-jet technology to form printed characters. This drop-on-demand, valve printer is a new, unique approach to small character ink-jet printing utilizing a pressurized ink supply. The 3400 is capable of printing one to five lines of characters at variable heights with greater tilt angles and a wide range of printhead choices. In addition to flexibility of character size, it has an enhance throw distance for difficult applications, and specially formulated inks.
