For use with all of Matthews Jet-A-Mark® Large Character Ink-jet Printers, the Large Capacity Ink System is designed for applications with large volume ink consumption: high-speed marking, long production runs, or printing large messages. Using a large ink container supply reduces the number of ink fill-ups and reduces ink costs by purchasing in bulk. Ink changeover is quickly and easily accomplished while the ink-jet printers are in operation, eliminating production downtime and reducing labor costs. The Large Capacity Ink System comes complete with compact control module and a warning light with magnetic base and extended cord for easy, compact installation on any production line. The low level warning light alerts the operator when it's time to add more ink. It can also be directly linked with other controlling logic to be monitored from a central location. Using a 5 or 55 gallon supply, ink or cleaner can be supplied to a maximum of eight Jet-A-Mark® 7-jet or four 16-jet printheads. Using a unique siphoning principle and internally isolated electronics, the Large Capacity Ink System can be set up for safe, quality porous, non-porous or fast drying ink applications on a variety of materials; corrugated, plastics, shrink wrap and metals.
