The EasySelect™ DOD/Ink-Jet software upgrade permits simplified message selection with a quick scan of any bar code. We interface our recommended Datalogic scanners (hand-held or fixed position) directly into the control unit of a Matthews 3000 or 5000 Series Ink-Jet Printer. The need to stock and print custom cartons, which contain product-specific information is eliminated with this marking solution. By combining generic cartons with our proven ink-jet case coding systems, EasySelect delivers an innovative material handling solution, while providing substantial cost savings. Scanning your product on-the-fly, will provide you with remote message selection on any production line. Once the product-specific, message had been selected by the bar code scanner, your ink-jet system is signaled to print that message continuously until a new message is prompted. Full automation of your plant's marking process is possible with EasySelect and the appropriate material handling equipment. The EasySelect upgrade is an ideal solution for industrial packaging manufacturers with high-volume product changeovers, such as contract packagers, bottlers, private-label, generic brand manufacturers, and any other plant handling multiple products and requiring printing of product-specific messages on shipping cases.
