ThermoStran® is produced by a patented manufacturing process. The counter flow die induces shear that lowers the resin viscosity enhancing fiber wetout and dispersion. Custom formulations are produced with glass, aramid, carbon, and/or stainless steel fiber loadings from 30 to 60% by weight in commodity or engineering thermoplastic resins. The manufacturing process can easily handle high temperature and viscosity thermoplastic resins.
