Data Security is a major concern in any organization. All documents irrespective of its value can be stored safely and can be retrieved at anytime. Storing the data in Lotusdomino/SQL server enables high security.
By default all user-groups/users except for administrators are denied access to all /any of the files. Administrators are the only users empowered to create user-groups/users.
Creators of cabinets assign access rights to user-groups/users. Access rights are “Allow work” (read/write) and “Read Only” apart from outright denial of access which is the default right. Users with “Allow work” are allowed to create, delete or modify the cabinets and all of its contents. Users with “Read only” rights can view contents but will be unable to create or change it. However “Read Only” users are allowed to add files to the cabinet.
For those users who are denied access to a cabinet, entry to the specific cabinet is denied and this cabinet name will not be displayed in the main screen cabinet list.
