Xact provides robust and reliable inkjet marking systems used in the packing of construction and building products. The Matthews Swedot drop-on-demand valvejet systems which were originally designed to meet the needs of the Swedish timber industry have proved effective for use in environments which are often harsh, dusty and subject to vibration. Pressurised and self-contained ink systems ensure printheads do not de-prime and ink avoids contamination from debris so the systems can keep running whatever the conditions. Xact’s HM print & apply labelling systems are also built to cope with the rigours of heavy industry. Constructed from corrosion resistant materials such as stainless steel and aluminium, Xact labelling systems are built to stand the test of time. When required, applicator units are milled out of solid blocks of aluminium to give increased vibration resistance and in particularly dusty environments pressurised air is used the systems are ket clean and heavy particles do not affect the label application process.
