In the most recent listing of the PC Week Fab 50 best selling software packages, 9 of the top 11 best selling packages were sold by Microsoft. The only two packages to crack the top 11 that were not made by Microsoft were Lotus 1-2-3 for Windows and Speed Doubler by Connectix. An unsubstantiated rumor has it that Lotus really isn't selling all of these packages to PC customers but rather that Microsoft is secretly purchasing the majority of these packages and is storing them in a warehouse in Seattle. Their motivation in doing this is to create the appearance that they actually have some competition in order to keep the Feds at bay. If anyone knows the whereabouts of this warehouse could they please send me some e-mail so that we can expose this terrible fraud that Microsoft is perpetrating.
Did you ever wonder what Intel did with all of those faulty Pentium Chips which were returned to them earlier this year by disgruntled PC owners. An unsubstantiated rumor has it that Intel sold the whole quantity of these faulty used Pentium Chips to Packard Bell for use in several of their PC's. Perhaps this is reason that Packard Bell is so delinquent in paying their Accounts Payable to Intel
