Gears consist of sectional rigid closed casing holding toothed elements seated in rolling bearings. The casing is also an oil tank. Toothing and bearings are lubricated with oil splashed by the gear rotating parts. In special cases toothing is lubricated with the use of oil pump and oil is cooled down in a special cooler.
Gears are fabricated as:
- helical-serial,
- helical-serial adapted for direct connection with flanged electric motor with the use of coupling built in the gear,
- bevel-helical.
Gears are fabricated with horizontally or vertically situated high and low-speed end shafts necks. A gear low-speed shaft end neck can be also fabricated as a conical sleeve adapted for direct mounting of the gear on the shaft of a machine or driven equipment (output shaft systems 01, 02...).
