Soft Flex Couplings are three piece couplings consisting of two zinc alloy hubs and a soft plastic multi-tooth sleeve. With each of the two hubs mounted with set screws onto to the driver shaft and the other to the driven shaft, the soft plastic transmits torque across the hubs through sheer connection. The sheer connection compensates for angular and parallel shaft misalignment providing protection from vibration and shock loads, and provides electrical insulation. These couplings are easy to install and maintenance free.
