aircraft. These include hydraulically actuated carbon composite and steel
brakes, mechanical and digital anti-skid brake control systems and lightweight
alloy wheels. We are pioneering electrically actuated carbon composite brakes
(known as the E-brake™), designed to exceed current standards of reliability,
operating cost and aircraft 'dispatchability'.
We were acquired by Meggitt PLC in August 2004 and are proud to share its
mission to deliver ‘smart engineering for extreme environments’ based on
innovative braking solutions as commercially viable as they are technically
ingenious. By integrating our highly complementary technologies, we aim to bring
improved products and systems to the world’s aerospace and defence industry and
provide enhanced levels of service from two substantial aftermarket
organisations.

Based in Coventry, United Kingdom, we design and manufacture high performance,

You will find our carbon brakes and lightweight alloy wheels deployed across the
military and commercial spectrum. We are on the latest business jets such as the
Gulfstream G550, state-of-the-art large jets like the Airbus A380 and advanced
military jet programmes including the Joint Strike Fighter.
