Product Description
S Glass uses a unique chemical fommulation which results in a stronger, tougher, and stiffer fabric than E Glass. S Glass is approximately 25% stronger than E Glass. One ply of S Glass can replace several plys of E Glass resulting in a considerably lighter wing or fuselage structure.
1.4 Oz. / Sq. Yd. Plain Weave
The lightest weight S Glass available. The high strength to weight ratio makes this fabric an ideal candidate for reinforcement of hand launch gliders and aircraft with light wing loading.
3.7 Oz. / Sq. Yd. Satin Weave
Can be used to make wing skins for large aircraft and fuselage bodies.
