The DM-01 is a one axis controller module out of the Delem modusys architecture. The control function and settings of the module are software programmable via the machine parameters in the DA-60 series control units.
With a machine parameter the type of axis will be specified e.g. servo motor loop, DC motor 2 speed, AC motor 2 speed, crowning and many more. This implies the advantage that for all kind of axes to be controlled there is only one type of module for system expansion, saving service and logistic expenses.
The DM-01 utilizes the 24Vdc power supply which is often available in the machine control box. Due to the relatively low power consumption a normal power supply can be used. Because of the CE demands on machine safety the DM-01 has been tested for EMC radiation and sensitivity according to the IEC801 norm specification.
