IndianaTool-IndianaGear's Quality Policy is:
To do everything possible to manufacture products without defect. In the event that defects are found, they will be reworked to specification or a formal request for disposition will be forwarded to the customer for approval.
Since 1955, we at IndianaTool-IndianaGear have produced precision-machined components of the highest quality for our customers. In order to maintain this standard of excellence, we have continually refined our quality systems to meet the demands of our customers. Today, our quality systems are in compliance with the ISO 9001:2000 standard.
Our Quality Control lab features two (2) state-of-the-art Zeiss-Mauser CMM’s with 100” of travel distance and an M&M Gear Analyzer capable of measuring gears up to 25” in diameter. These machines allow us to gather and analyze quality data on large machined parts and gears.
The acquisition of a FaroArm-Platinum portable CMM has expanded our inspection capabilities beyond the Quality Control lab. Our certified operators can now inspect or perform CAD-to-Part-analysis on parts anywhere the customer requires it while maintaining accuracy within +/- .0005
