Manufacturing is one of the fastest growing segments at ATS. Initially formed to bring CNC machining capability in-house for building wind tunnel models, we now have a full-service machine shop. Our shop supervisor is a journeyman machinist with over 30 years of experience in a variety of manufacturing processes. Our shop is equipped with: * Three CNC milling machines * The latest Unigraphics NX CAD/CAM software * Lathe * Welding capabilities * Sheet metal shear and brake * Extensive machining and technical library. We build one-off articles, series parts production, plugs, molds, hydroform dies and other aircraft production tooling. ATS has an independent Quality Control department to guarantee strict compliance to all manufacturing data. QC reports directly to the company president and has the responsibility of maintaining our compliance with FAA-PMA and customer quality standards.
