Product Name: Heatrex Immersion Heaters
Product Description
Heatrex Flanged Immersion Heaters are designed for through-the-side mounting
in tanks and pressure vessels using standard pipe flanges ranging from 3\" to 14\"
in pipe size. They are available in a wide selection of rates, sizes and
materials adaptable to the heating requirements of water, oil and other liquid
solutions as well as air and other gases. They are readily installed through
matching companion flanges (available from local industrial supply houses) which
are welded to the vessel.
Flanged Immersion Heaters provide a high degree of efficiency since all the
energy which is generated is dissipated directly into the medium which is being
heated.
Construction
Standard Flanged Heaters consist of three or more hairpin shaped tubular
elements welded or brazed into a carbon steel pipe flange. All standard flanges
meet ANSI pipe flange specification B 16.5. Wiring is accomplished using heavy
duty copper jumper straps and terminal connections designed to afford an extra
margin of current carrying capacity. A NEMA 1 terminal housing is provided on
all standard units. Many variations or modifications are available to meet
specific application requirements.

Custom Flanged Heaters are basically of the same construction as the standard
units except that the flange is designed and fabricated to the customer\'s
specifications. You tell us how you want it designed - We can build it. Call us

questions.
ControlsVarious controls are available for use with these heaters ranging from a
simple mechanical on-off thermostat to sophisticated solid state electronic
packages designed for close and accurate control of the process.
