CTAS®-T (Wide Range Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor)
Application
This is an exhaust gas temperature sensor which uses a perovskite type ceramic
thermistor device, enabling it to detect temperatures over a wide range from low
temperature to 900℃. It has high resistance to heat and also shape design
flexibility, so it can be installed on the exhaust pipe or the catalyst case. In
addition to protection of the turbocharger, catalyst, and so on, by monitoring
the exhaust temperature, this sensor is also used for control of the DPF and the
NOx catalyst, and helps to reduce fuel consumption and clean the exhaust gas.
Features
Can measure the exhaust gas temperature over a wide range from 100℃ to 900℃. In
addition, a new type of sensor that can measure temperatures from ‐40℃ to 900℃
in order to cope with the OBD demand from
‐40℃ in the North American market is currently being developed.
Quick response is realized by the use of a small device and the slim design of
the temperature sensing section.

CTAS®-E (EGR Temperature Sensor)
Application
This sensor is intended for monitoring the operation condition of an EGR system
by detecting the temperature of the exhaust gas recycled in an EGR system. It
helps to clean the exhaust gas.

Uses a thermistor device to detect the medium temperature region.
Has high heat resistance, and is compact and light.
Has a proven record in many markets.
