A series of floor grates for the refurbishment of the Victorian Glasshouses
at the Botanical Gardens in Sheffield.
Step 1
Resin patterns were produced from the architects drawings
Step 2
The grates were cast in ductile iron for added strength.
Step 3
The castings were all hand finished prior to painting .
Step 4
There were two different designs with two sizes for each design.
Step 5
After leaving us the grates were painted and fitted on site.
