Product Description
The brand name CEPLATTYN has already a long tradition and is
acknowledged world wide. CEPLATTYN has been the first sprayable
adhesive lubricant, developed more than 50 years ago. Nowadays
adhesive lubricants marketed under this name are available
throughout the world in a whole range of specially formulated
products for a wide range of applications. This group of
products contains both grease based lubricants, which contain a
high graphite content, and solid-free, high-viscous fluids.
The CEPLATTYN adhesive lubricants range fulfils the tough
tribotechnical conditions encountered. The CEPLATTYN range can
be used in numerous industrial applications, e.g. open-running
drive units on tube mills, rotary kilns, dryers, ore crushers,
calcinators etc. In addition on slewing rings, rack-and-pinion
devices, slide rails and bolted connections. CEPLATTYN is also
used for the inner lubrication and maintenance of wire ropes.
CEPLATTYN lubricants are suitable for the most varied operating
conditions, and can be used with all types of application
equipment. They are free from heavy metals, chlorine and
solvents. Wear is reduced through the use of special additive
packages and their excellent adhesive qualities, thereby
ensuring minimum consumption rates.
CEPLATTYN products are used:

for the lubrication of highly loaded and/or pre-damaged
gear drive units.

for initial lubrication and for the specialised
running-in of open-running gear drives up to operational
lubrication. For this purpose the use of
MULTI-PHASE-LUBRICATION (M-P-L) is recommended which,
through the use of selected CEPLATTYN grades, offers optimum
protection, particularly during the commissioning of a new
drive unit.

for lubrication of gear drives, where minimum
application quantities are required.

for the lubrication of large link chains.

for lubrication and preservation of wire ropes.

for lubrication in steel construction for hydraulic
engineering , where environmentally-harmless products are

CEPLATTYN adhesive lubricants are recommended and prescribed by
leading equipment manufacturers.
CEPLATTYN 300 is a high-graphite containing
adhesive lubricant, based on a carefully selected solvent
raffinate and contains EP additives and tackiness improvers. The
product is free of bitumen, heavy metals and solvents. CEPLATTYN
300 together with CEPLATTYN RN and CEPLATTYN KG 10 HMF represent
the FUCHS LUBRITECH multi-phase system.
Fields of application:
CEPLATTYN 300 is recommended as an assembly lubricant for open
gears, large gear boxes, gear racks and all sliding bearing
surfaces. It is used as an assembly paste for threads and pins.
As a wire rope lubricant, it is also suitable for wire ropes.
Furthermore, the CEPLATTYN 300 lubricant is applied to chains,
sliding bearing surfaces and gears in dockyards and canals as
well as in open cast mining and pits (approvals available).
CEPLATTYN BL is based on a high
quality base oil and aluminium complex-soap as a thickener. The
product contains colloidal graphite, and furthermore an adhesive
additive package.
Fields of application:
CEPLATTYN BL is a service lubricant for machines or
machine-parts operating under difficult conditions e. g. open
gears, sliding tracks, chains, worm gears, and wires, or for
machine parts subject to changes concerning temperature and
environment.
CEPLATTYN KG 10 HMF is based on
a high-quality base oil, thickened with aluminium complex soap.
The product contains colloidal graphite of the highest purity
and fineness and in addition a carefully determined additive
package, which is chlorine free and contains no heavy metals,
together with adhesive additives. Together with CEPLATTYN 300
and CEPLATTYN RN, CEPLATTYN KG 10 HMF forms one of LUBRITECH’S
matched multiphase lubrication systems.
Fields of application:
CEPLATTYN KG 10 HMF is used on the gear rim drives of tube
mills, rotary kilns, dryers and crushers, which are to be found,
i.a., in the raw materials industry or the power station sector.
In addition CEPLATTYN KG 10 HMF is suitable for the lubrication
of chains and heavily loaded sliding guides in rough operating
conditions, e.g. in the mining industry.
CEPLATTYN KG 10 HMF-1000 is
based on a chosen high viscous base oil with aluminium-complex
soap as a thickener. The special additive package is free of
chlorine and lead, as well as of other heavy metals. CEPLATTYN
KG 10 HMF-1000 contains the purest and finest colloidal
graphite. It does not contain solvents. Altogether it can be
marked as an excellent product. CEPLATTYN KG 10 HMF together
with CEPLATTYN RN and CEPLATTYN 300 represent the FUCHS
LUBRITECH multi-phase system.
Fields of application:
Due to the high base oil viscosity and the cushioning effect,
CEPLATTYN KG 10 HMF-1000 is especially qualified for heavy duty
and shock-load. The high content of solid lubricants guarantees
temperature stability of the lubricating film, also if exceeding
the normal temperature range. CEPLATTYN KG 10 HMF-1000 serves as
an operating lubricant for open running gear drives, as for
instance used in kilns, mills and dryers in heavy and primary
industry. Links, gear racks, sliding surfaces etc. can also be
lubricated successfully.
CEPLATTYN KG 10 HMF-2500 is
based on a chosen high viscous base oil with aluminium-complex
soap as a thickener. The special additive package is free of
heavy metals and chlorine. CEPLATTYN KG 10 HMF-2500 contains the
purest and finest colloidal graphite. It does not contain
solvents. By these characteristics, CEPLATTYN KG 10 HMF-2500 is
pointed out to be an excellent product. CEPLATTYN KG 10 HMF
together with CEPLATTYN RN and CEPLATTYN 300 represent the FUCHS
LUBRITECH multi-phase lubrication system.

extreme load conditions. Also for tooth flanks showing damages.
CEPLATTYN RN is based on a
mineral base oil and an aluminium-complex soap as thickener. It
is highly graphited, adhesive and sprayable. CEPLATTYN RN does
neither contain bitumen nor solvent. In addition it is free of
heavy metals and chlorine. CEPLATTYN RN together with CEPLATTYN
300 and CEPLATTYN KG 10 HMF represent the FUCHS LUBRITECH
multi-phase system.
Fields of application:
CEPLATTYN RN can be applied to single and double pinion drives
of any kind of tube mills and kilns, e.g. in cement works,
fertilizer plants, combustion and compost units. CEPLATTYN RN is
applied to gear drives with high performance. Furthermore it is
used when running under critical operating conditions, when
having big tooth widths or when running with high speeds.
