The MCal pneumatic valve positioner accepts a pneumatic or analog input signal and provides fast and accurate positioning of pneumatic actuators. The MCal is a cam characterized pneumatic valve positioner for use with either linear or rotary actuators. Available for use with single or double acting actuators, the MCal can be used in a wide variety of applications. Its rugged, durable design makes it ideal for use in harsh environments while maintaining precise, accurate positioning of the control element. Features: - Certified General Purpose Nema 4, 4x with a corrosion resistant enclosure standard Accepts either 3-15 or 6-30 psi or 4-20 mA input signal Zero and span adjustments are dynamically independent of each other Cam – Characterization allow for use on either rotary or linear valves Optional 4-20 mA feed back available Optional position switches are SPDT mechanical type Units come complete with gauges for supply, output, and signal pressure Visual position indication is provided by the HiVue local Visual Display, an impact and corrosion resistant valve position indicator capable of displaying exact valve position from any direction at distances of up to 150 feet All AVID™ positioners are provided standard with ModMount assemblies for direct low profile mounting to Tyco™ rack and pinion actuators and NAMUR drives for bracket mounting Options: - 2 SPDT mechanical limit switches 4-20 mA position feedback transmitter Electro Pneumatic units with built in I/P Electro Pneumatic units are available in Nema 4, 4x or 4,4x7, 9 (Ratings are for I/P only, not the enclosure)
