Product Description
The combination of materials and manufacturing
techniques used for our LVDTs, RVITs and tilt products results in extremely
rugged transducers, capable of functioning during and after severe shock loads
and vibration. Magnetic encoders offer breakthrough technology for accurate
rotation sensing in harsh weather or difficult industrial conditions.
Linear Displacement
Typical uses for gageheads, LVDT
instrumentation and OEM linear position transducers include industrial process
control, valve position, roller gap control, instrumentation, aerospace and
automotive.
Tilt/Clinometers
AccuStar™ electronic clinometers and
AngleStar™ electronic protractor systems use capacitance-based sensors for the
precise measurement of level, angle or tilt. Uses include construction
equipment, tipover protection, antenna positioning, vehicle testing, car alarms,
aerospace and robotics.
Rotary Displacement
Offers high reliability for absolute rotary
position measurements in a range of specialized applications such as industrial
controls, valve position, robotics and throttle controls.
Level (Hall Effect)
The extremely rugged AccuStar™ fluid level
sensor measures oil or transmission fluid levels in off-road vehicles.
Magnetic Encoders
Superior to existing optical encoders for
durability, contamination resistance and cost, magnetic encoders can be used for
vending machines, equipment controls, flow meters, medical devices and many
other applications.
Instrumentation
Eliminates compatibility problems for signal
conditioning of LVDTs. Applications include test stands and manufacturing
systems.
