Panasonic's advanced Intelligent Image Stabilizer suppresses the blurs two ways. First, the MEGA O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer) minimizes blurring caused by shaky hands. And second, Intelligent ISO Control minimizes the motion blur that can occur when taking shots of kids, pets or other subjects that won't keep still. 
This Intelligent Image Stabilizer system combines with the high-resolution 7.2-megapixel image sensor and high-performance Venus Engine III image processor to deliver clear, sharp beautiful pictures.

You get all the fun of a high-performance camera without all the complicated settings. The Mode Dial of the DMC-LZ7/LZ6 makes it easy to switch between shooting and viewing modes. With the Scene Mode function, you select from 18 shootings situations – including the new SUNSET and PET – and the camera automatically makes the optimal settings. Or just choose Simple Mode and enjoy super-easy shooting and great results in most conditions.
