The Intelligent Image Stabilizer automatically prevents blurring. MEGA O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer) suppresses the effects of hand-shake, so you get vibrantly colored shots of the remarkable landscapes you find when traveling, in all their natural beauty, even when zooming. Intelligent ISO Control suppresses the blurring that can occur when your subject moves, such as when you're photographing an animal in the wild. 
This powerful blur-minimizing system combines with the high-resolution 7.2-megapixel (DMC-TZ3) / 6-megapixel (DMC-TZ2) image sensor and high-performance Venus Engine III image processor to give you beautiful photos of places and events you want to remember forever.

When you're traveling, the newly enhanced Scene Mode makes it easier than ever to capture beautiful shots you'll remember forever. Choose from the newly added SUNSET and PET settings, or settings such as BEACH and AERIAL. There are 20 Scene Mode settings in all to choose from. And there's a wealth of additional functions you'll appreciate when you're on the road, such as Date Stamp and a new Clipboard Function that lets you save images of maps, timetables and other useful information. Shooting is even more fun when you can view the photos right on the spot. Featuring a large 3.0inch high-resolution LCD*, the DMC-TZ3 lets you and all your friends see the photos you just shot.
