The DuoWave-VIS converts the infrared version of the VersaDisk
into the green spectral range.
Upon the desired output wavelenth in the green, the VersaDisk
is set to a fixed wavelength between 1010 nm and 1055 nm resulting in green
radiation from the DuoWave-VIS between 505 nm and 527.5 nm.
This frequency conversion is realized as resonant conversion. The output
power and the linewidth are dependent on the VersaDisk
pump laser used in the near infrared.
The further conversion of this radiation into the UV is realized with the
DuoWave-UV resonant conversion unit. The DuoWave-UV can also be used to convert
the green version of the VersaDisk-515 at 515 nm into the UV, resulting in a
wavelength of 257.5 nm.
ELS was
