Working in collaboration with leading industrial partners, Battelle AgriFood
develops competencies and novel technologies to improve the efficacy, safety,
and sustainability of the global agriculture and food system. We select and
develop technologies from within Battelle and from external sources to
contribute to the sustainable supply of safe, nutritious food and other
bio-based products to meet increasing global demands.
Battelle AgriFood has four laboratory sites dedicated to agrochemical product
development located in Columbus, Ohio in the USA, Geneva in Switzerland and
Havant and Ongar in the United Kingdom. The four laboratories are globally
integrated in a way that offers customers maximum flexibility to ensure that
work programs are delivered on time. For example, by assigning programs among
the three sites we can start more studies on a short lead-in and avoid
bottlenecks caused by equipment availability.
