Product Description

Castlet has designed and manufactured electronic equipments for use in flight on many fast jet and rotary wing aircraft. Aircraft programmes, on which Castlet’s equipments feature, include Jaguar, Harrier, Tornado, Hawk, Typhoon, Lynx and Merlin. All these equipments have satisfied the stringent design clearance demanded by the military aircraft specifications, including environmental type-testing to Mil Std 810, and EMC to Mil Std 461A. Series production equipments benefit from simulated-environment burn-in periods, involving programmed thermal cycling and random vibration. Only slightly less onerous, are the specifications applied to the aerospace ground support equipments which Castlet has also designed and manufactured. Nevertheless, the same high level of product integrity is maintained throughout the range, by the application of continuous quality surveillance procedures
