The M-140K Microfluidizer® Processor provides the highest shear rates of all available mixers and homogenizers on the market today. With process pressures ranging from 8,000 to 40,000 psi, the M-140K maximizes the energy-per-unit fluid volume resulting in uniform submicron particle and droplet sizes.
Utilizing Microfluidics’ fixed-geometry interaction chamber technology, the M-140K is capable of processing a wide variety of fluids ranging from simple oil-in-water emulsions to highly abrasive solids-in-liquid suspensions. The M-140K machine is also highly efficient in deagglomeration and cell disruption. The system is easy to operate and is designed for in-line cleaning, requiring no disassembly.
Having established the desired results in the lab with the M-140K, the process is repeatable and is guaranteed to scaleup to production volumes.
