Originally conceived for the beverage industry to carry out spent yeast filtration, the Larox DS automatic pressure filter has been developed over the years so it is suitable for all chemical industry processes requiring containment. The DS Series filter is available as the standard enclosed model operating with an air atmosphere or the Gas Tight model operating with an inert atmosphere inside the enclosure. All models are also available to a hygienic specification.

The Larox DS Series provides the expected high performance of a Larox automatic pressure filter. A unique double-sided, all-polypropylene filter plate inside each filter chamber is at the heart of the DS Series. This double-sided filtration also makes this filter extremely suitable for the harder to dewater processes. It also ensures extremely efficient cake washing, with multiple wash options available due to the filter plate configuration. These washing options cannot be carried out with other automatic pressure filters.
