Superior Design The design of the valve is where its true worth is found. The valve's trunnions are both offset from the valve centreline having the affect of camming the shutter into its seat for a positive shut off. The shutter actually moves away from the seat as it opens, effectively eliminating seat wear. Superb Control The Omega valve exploits its design features to the full when used as a control valve. As previously mentioned, the shutter Special Service Actuators The Forac 'Dome' actuator is based around the standard four pistoned design. The actuator is supplied with a close fitting, stainless steel lid that is secured to a polypropylene or stainless steel base plate. The lid seals against an 'O' ring on the base plate and the dome nuts that secure it also have 'O' ring seals. This gives the 'Dome' actuator a standard IP rating of 67 or higher if required. Available in spring return or double acting, the 'Dome' can now be fitted with switches or proximity sensors, solenoid valves and visual indication without getting any bigger in size! This ultimate package offers not only high chemical resistance along with aesthetically clean lines and hose down surfaces, but offers the smallest actuation package on the market.
